DJI FlyCart 30, the company’s first delivery drone has just made its way through the FCC suggesting a North American, and therefore, a worldwide release is near. FlyCart 30 was recently announced for the Chinese market only.
UPDATE: DJI has announced the FlyCart 30, making it available in most western countries served by the company, including United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia.

FlyCart 30m supports packages of up to 30kg, as the name suggests, has a 16km range when fully loaded, comes equipped with dual safety systems, and 4G image transmission for long range missions.
The DJI delivery drone uses DJI’s RC Plus remote controller that is used by the Matrice and Inspire series, as well as a dual-battery system that can be used with one or two batteries.
DJI FlyCart 30 configurations
With a single battery, FlyCart 30 can carry up to a 40kg package. In a dual-battery configuration, FlyCart 30 can carry up to a 30kg package and has a loaded range of 16km and an empty range of 28km.
The drone can be setup in two variants, one that is fixed and requires the drone to land to drop off the package, and another mode that lowers the package down using a string.
DJI FlyCart 30 safety features
FlyCart 30 features a parachute out-of-the-box that uses a separate power supply and automatically stops the propellers on release, as well as sounding an alarm. It is also equipped with redundant components and has dual vision obstacle avoidance sensors.
Using an RTK module, FlyCart 30 can land in designated safe areas programmed before the flight. During the flight it will choose the closest area in the event it needs to land during the flight.

Often when DJI drones make their way through the FCC it means an international release is expected within the next month or two. We expect FlyCart 30 to be made available in all of DJI’s current markets, pending additional regulatory approval.
